Enter the parts from your plan once. The calculator multiplies each finished length by its quantity and gives you a printable cutting total.

How the total works

Each line is quantity x finished length. The total is the sum of those line totals. Blank or invalid lengths count as zero. Changing units changes the label only; it does not convert numbers you already entered.

This is a cutting total, not a shopping estimate. It deliberately does not add blade kerf, end checks, defects, grain matching, trim allowance or waste because those depend on your stock and method. Add those allowances to your plan yourself, then buy against the real board lengths available locally.

Start from the cut list in the phone stand, simple box, cutting board, planter box or floating shelf guide. Measure your actual stock: nominal names such as 1x4 are not dimensions.

Privacy, freshness and corrections

The tool stores the rows only in your browser's local storage so they survive a reload. Nothing is uploaded. Its only transformation is the multiplication and sum shown above. The calculator was checked on 14 September 2026 and is reviewed when its code or input model changes. Report a calculation problem through the contact page.
