Terms of use
Last updated: August 2026
By using beginnerwoodprojects.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
What this site is
General educational information about beginner woodworking. It is not professional, structural, engineering, electrical or safety-certification advice, and it is not a substitute for the instruction manual that came with your own tools or the requirements that apply where you live. Dimensions, times and costs on this site are guidance for planning, not guarantees.
You are responsible for your own work
Woodworking involves sharp edges, powered cutting tools, fine dust and chemical finishes. You decide whether a project is within your ability, whether your tools and materials are suitable, and whether the way you have chosen to do it is safe. Please read the safety disclaimer before you build anything from this site.
No warranty, and limits on liability
Content is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind. We take care to be accurate and we correct mistakes when they are pointed out, but we do not warrant that every detail is complete, current, or right for your situation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from the use of this site or anything built from it. Nothing here excludes a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under consumer law.
Printables and content
The First 5 Projects Roadmap and everything else we publish is for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may print copies for yourself. Please do not republish, resell or redistribute our content or printables, or present them as your own. Linking to a page here is always welcome.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site earn us a commission. How that works, and what it does and does not change, is set out on the affiliate disclosure page.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site changes. The date at the top shows when they were last revised; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
